Cloud a la Carte offers pre-designed websites with all the functionalities required to effectively manage a school’s PTO or PTA group and actively engage with the parents.

Cloud a la Carte School PTO / PTA Websites Main Capabilities
The solution streamlines communication with the school parents with a single place to manage all relevant school information and multiple ways to make information available to the parents: web page, newsletter or RSS feed.
The solution is seamlessly integrated with online services such as Google Calendar, Picassa photo gallery, Paypal, external news feeds as well as ConstantContact or Mailchimp email services.
Events posted on the a Google Calendar created for the school automatically appear on the website’s calendar and in its upcoming section. The calendar page can also display events from the school district or from other schools Google Calendar.
The website retrieves selected pictures from an online photo service such as Picassa, simplifying the management and sharing of pictures within the school community. Pictures can appear on the restricted area of the website to be only visible to the school parents.
If the School PTO / PTA uses an email service such as ConstantContact or MailChimp, parents directly register their email address to the email service. The PTO / PTA management team can also create news letter from the article posted on the website.
The website can display news items displayed on a different website and available through RSS. For instance school district news or news from the local community can directly appear on the website and get automatically updated.
For online donations for any other fundraising activities, the site can display a “Donate” button that uses a PayPal service to collect online payment and directly transfer it to the School PTO / PTA bank account.
In addition to providing a central repository for all relevant documents and school information, the website also greatly simplifies the interaction with the parents for submitting online forms, volunteering for specific activities and for submitting, reviewing and approving school news articles before they appear on the website.
